Overt disagreement between staff, absenteeism, reported stress, and falling productivity or creativity may all be indications of excessive workplace stress. This can often be due to conflict, either at organizational level where two groups are in conflict or where there is conflict between work tasks or work goals, or at individual level. Individuals may be in conflict because of their place in the organizational structure, because of the organizations culture, or because bullying has been allowed to develop.
